The Blessing of the Columbarium
The columbarium was blessed in a celebration held at 6 p.m. on October 24, 2013, with Father Andrew Gilles and Bishop Brian Dunn officiating.
A Message from the President
On behalf of the Acadiaville Cemetery Society, I would like to extend to all a warm welcome.
The columbarium is a beautiful structure situated in close proximity to the Immaculate Conception Church. Overlooking the harbour, it offers a peaceful place for quiet reflection and prayer.
This project would not have been possible without the dedication of many hands and hearts. We gratefully acknowledge Gloria Hill, Alvin Martell, the West Arichat & District Village Circle Society, District 4 of the Municipality of Richmond, Anna Samson, the Parish Council, and the Catholic Women’s League for their contributions and support.
I look to the columbarium as testimony of the resilience and perseverance of our community — and I hope that, through continued collaboration, it will be a source of spiritual renewal for all who visit.
