Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery · West Arichat, Isle Madame, Nova Scotia

Welcome to Isle Madame

Quietly tucked away on the southwest corner of Cape Breton, Isle Madame is a place where history runs deep. Acadian, Irish, Scottish, and English families have called these shores home for generations, weaving a cultural heritage — and a joie de vivre — that is still felt in every community on the island.

The Acadiaville Cemetery Society is proud to care for the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery in West Arichat, a resting place that overlooks the waters our families have fished, sailed, and loved for more than two centuries.
